Senior‑associate opportunity in a nationally recognised statutory compensation team based in Melbourne. The role involves advising and representing public and private scheme stakeholders on complex statutory compensation matters and related insurance and personal‑injury litigation.

This is a hands‑on litigation role: you will manage a substantial caseload in Victoria's courts, provide strategic, pragmatic advice to scheme stakeholders, and mentor junior lawyers within a collaborative, high‑performing team. The team uses modern legal technologies and supports flexible, sustainable ways of working.

At least 5 years’ post‑admission experience with substantive exposure to statutory compensation law (workers’/transport accident compensation or closely related insurance/personal‑injury work).
Proven litigation experience in state courts and the ability to manage a busy caseload end‑to‑end.
Strong technical drafting and advocacy skills, with attention to detail and commercial judgment.
Client‑focused approach, ability to build trusted relationships, and experience mentoring junior lawyers.
