Senior Associate — Technology Companies Group, San Francisco

Senior associate opportunity on a national technology companies team advising high-growth and emerging technology businesses and their investors. The team delivers venture financings, private offerings and M&A work for startups across multiple U.S. innovation hubs.

This role is based in the San Francisco office (remote/other-office flexibility within the firm’s U.S. platform may be possible) and will work on transactional matters across the firm’s national technology practice. The team offers structured training, mentoring, and opportunities to work on lead counsel and deal-focused matters for growth-stage clients.

• 7–8 years post-qualification experience at a major law firm with significant private offerings, venture capital and emerging-company transactions experience
• Strong drafting and deal-execution skills on financings, equity and convertible instruments, and related corporate documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced deals
• Admission to the state bar of the office in which the candidate will be located (California bar admission required for SF-based candidates)
