Senior Associate — Technology & Digital Economy (Brisbane)

Senior-associate opportunity in a national Digital Economy / TMT team, based in Brisbane. The role involves advising on a broad range of technology matters including software and systems, cloud and outsourcing arrangements, data and privacy, cyber incident response, digital transformation, fintech and telecommunications, with exposure to complex commercial contracts and project work.

The team works on matters across Australia and with international colleagues, offering opportunities to work on cross-border transactions, regulatory matters and major technology programmes. • Bachelor of Laws or equivalent with admission to practice
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience in technology, privacy/cyber or TMT practice
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts and commercial agreements
• Knowledge of privacy and cyber response matters; experience with QITC, Security of Critical Infrastructure Act or APRA CPS 230 is highly advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication, commercial judgement, attention to detail and client service orientation
