Senior Associate — Transactional Funds & Regulatory Advisory, Hong Kong

Senior Associate role in a leading international funds and regulatory team based in Hong Kong. The role focuses on fund formation, structuring, transactional work and regulatory compliance for asset managers and fund sponsors across Hong Kong and cross-border matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on Hong Kong licensing and regulatory regimes (including SFC-related matters), drafting and negotiating fund documentation and offering materials, supporting fund transactions (secondary transfers, co-investments, joint ventures) and advising on digital assets, tokenisation and VASP regulatory issues. The role also involves supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development.

• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong or another common-law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience in investment funds, asset management or financial regulation, ideally from an international law firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of Hong Kong funds and regulatory frameworks; experience on cross-border matters advantageous.
• Experience or interest in digital assets/tokenisation and related regulatory issues preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills in English; Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) advantageous.
