Apply in confidence →Join a national employment & workplace relations team based in Brisbane. This role offers a blend of frontend and backend work acting chiefly for employer clients across sectors including construction, not‑for‑profit and social/community organisations.
You will advise on a wide range of workplace matters such as post‑employment restraints, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes, organisational change and compliance with workplace laws. There is also growing exposure to workplace health & safety and workplace investigations.
The team is collaborative and client‑facing; the role includes opportunities for business development such as contributing articles and presenting at client events, plus structured support for professional development and career progression.
- Minimum 2 years post‑admission employment/workplace relations experience (PAE).
- Demonstrated experience advising employers on employment disputes, contracts, industrial relations, enterprise bargaining, dismissal and discrimination matters.
- Strong drafting and written/verbal communication skills; ability to tailor advice to different audiences.
- Commercial approach to matter management including time recording, billing and client liaison; team player with attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
