Apply in confidence →Leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its Litigation group within the Business & Commercial subgroup. This is a multi-office U.S. role (East Coast hubs) with a hybrid working pattern and regular in-office presence.
The role focuses on post-closing M&A indemnity disputes and representations & warranty insurance matters. The successful candidate will handle dispute resolution, damages analysis, and related transactional documentation, and will draft and negotiate transactional and closing documents as needed.
The position includes responsibility for managing and mentoring junior lawyers and business professionals, performing due diligence and regulatory analysis, and producing high-quality written work under client deadlines.
- Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where based
- Minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience handling M&A post-closing indemnity disputes and/or representations & warranty insurance disputes
- Experience with M&A transaction documentation and damages calculations
- Proven drafting and negotiation skills on transactional and closing documents; experience leading due diligence
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members and to manage competing deadlines
