Experienced finance attorney to join a Venture Capital Debt practice in New York, focused on representing borrowers and investor-side parties in venture debt, growth capital and related financings for early- and late-stage companies.

Day-to-day work includes negotiating and drafting loan and collateral documentation, advising on transaction structure, supporting deal execution and preparing firm forms. The role involves close collaboration with corporate, M&A, life sciences and venture teams and use of AI-driven tools to support markups of term sheets, credit agreements, certificates and customary credit deliverables.

Competitive compensation is market-based and commensurate with experience; candidates must be (or be eligible for) bar admission in New York.

Demonstrated experience on venture debt, growth capital or related debt financings representing borrowers and investors
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for loan agreements, collateral documentation and credit support documents
Experience coordinating with corporate, M&A and industry teams (e.g., life sciences, emerging companies)
Comfort using templates, building forms and leveraging AI-driven review/markup tools
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong academic credentials; New York bar admission or eligibility required
