Senior Attorney, Venture Growth & M&A — New York

Seeking a non-partner track Senior Attorney to act as a primary legal lead for sophisticated corporate clients, including family offices, private equity-backed entities and international investment vehicles. This role balances high-level deal structuring with hands-on corporate governance and day-to-day commercial work.

Responsibilities include overseeing complex M&A and LP investment transactions, coordinating specialist counsel on tax and financing matters, and serving as the connective tissue across board governance, operating agreements and commercial contracts. The role requires strong commercial judgment and the ability to interface directly with principals and senior business stakeholders.

Position is based in New York with a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and deliver high-quality, timely legal advice.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• 6+ years of corporate/M&A experience, ideally with private equity or VC-backed transactions
• Proven ability to structure and execute complex deals and coordinate cross-disciplinary counsel
• Strong corporate governance experience (board minutes, operating agreements) and commercial contract drafting
• High emotional intelligence, autonomy, and ability to liaise directly with principals and senior business stakeholders
