Senior Corporate & Private Equity Associate — Los Angeles

Leading national private equity practice seeks a Senior Associate to join its Los Angeles corporate team. The role focuses on private equity acquisitions, exits and related corporate work across the investment lifecycle, including M&A and financing matters.

The team represents private equity sponsors, independent sponsors and portfolio companies across industry sectors with particular strength in healthcare. The position combines hands-on deal execution with opportunities to participate in business development and client relationship work.

This is a front‑office transactional role for a driven lawyer who wants to lead complex deals and grow within an established PE platform.

• 5–7 years post‑qualification transactional experience (private equity/M&A focus)
• Proven experience on acquisitions, dispositions and related financing transactions
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for purchase agreements, disclosure schedules and ancillary documents
• Ability to manage deal teams, coordinate due diligence and advise sponsors/portfolio companies
• Excellent communication, commercial judgment and client service orientation
• Bar admission in the relevant US jurisdiction (California preferred)
