Senior Counsel, Insurance Coverage (Property) — Dallas

Senior counsel role in a national insurance practice handling complex coverage litigation and advisory matters for insurer clients. The team focuses on coverage analysis, bad-faith disputes, and business-interruption and property-related claims.

The position requires an experienced, proactive lawyer who can manage a docket independently, draft coverage opinions and litigation papers, coordinate discovery and expert work, and appear in depositions, hearings and mediations as needed. • Admitted to practice in Texas; 10+ years' insurance coverage and litigation experience.
• Experience with first- and third-party property claims, coverage opinions, and defending declaratory judgment and coverage actions preferred.
• Strong legal writing, advocacy and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple matters and take ownership of cases.
• Litigation experience required; willing to travel as needed and able to work independently and in a leadership role on matters.
