Apply in confidence →Experienced employment lawyer role within a busy Dutch practice advising and litigating across the full spectrum of employment and pensions law for employers, works councils and pension administrators. Work covers contracts and dismissals, reorganisations and TUPE, collective labour law and works council issues, restrictive covenants, secondment and migration, ARBO and remuneration schemes, and pension law work.
The team works cross‑office with colleagues in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Brussels on integrated matters alongside corporate, tax, privacy and restructuring teams. The role combines client advisory work, litigation and involvement in M&A and restructuring matters from an employment‑law perspective.
As a senior lawyer you will lead complex files, act as a senior sparring partner for clients and colleagues, coach junior lawyers and contribute to knowledge sharing and team development. The position expects pragmatic, commercially aware advice and active contribution to business development.
- Minimum 6+ years' post‑qualification experience in employment/pensions law
- Proven experience handling complex advisory and litigation matters
- Fluent Dutch and strong English communication skills (written and oral)
- Team player who can coach junior lawyers and work across offices and practice areas
- Commercial awareness and willingness to contribute to client development
