National law firm is seeking a senior ERISA attorney to join its Compensation & Benefits practice. The role focuses on advising on tax-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans, including plan design, administration and ERISA compliance.

Day-to-day work includes drafting plan documents and participant disclosures, handling compliance testing, preparing IRS and DOL filings, responding to audits, and managing correction and remediation matters. The position also involves counseling on benefit-plan issues arising in mergers, acquisitions and other transactional contexts. Familiarity with ESOPs and plan asset issues is a plus.

Minimum 6 years of ERISA/employee benefits experience advising on tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans

Strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills; excellent academic credentials
