Senior in‑house conflicts lawyer to join a global Business Acceptance Unit responsible for assessing new business, client onboarding and conflicts, sanctions and AML risk across multiple US offices. The role provides high autonomy and regular engagement with partners, practice‑group heads and senior stakeholders to resolve commercial, regulatory and professional conflicts issues.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include reviewing and resolving conflicts matters, drafting waivers and consent language, advising on lateral hire on‑boarding and matter transfers, and coordinating with specialist teams on sanctions/financial crime and other suitability issues. The role also contributes to policy, precedent and systems development, training delivery, and mentoring junior BAU staff.

Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience.
J.D. required; admitted and in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction (preferably NY, DC or TX). Admissions in NY, TX, CA, DC, MA or IL desirable.
Demonstrable experience handling conflicts of interest in a law firm environment; strong knowledge of business acceptance, conflict checking and information‑barrier processes.
Excellent drafting, judgement and stakeholder management skills; able to work under time pressure and to lead cross‑functional resolution of issues.
