A senior conflicts attorney is sought to join an established Legal Risk Management team in Chicago. The role focuses on clearing conflicts, advising on professional responsibility issues, and reviewing and negotiating client-provided terms and outside counsel guidelines across a global platform.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough conflicts reviews, coordinating searches and communications with lawyers across offices, assisting with engagement letters and waivers, and providing practical advice on ethics and legal-risk matters. The role also supports special projects and stays current on conflicts and ethics best practices across jurisdictions.

U.S. law degree and active bar license in good standing
5+ years' experience in conflicts, legal risk management, or professional responsibility
Strong knowledge of rules of professional responsibility and conflicts clearance processes
Excellent oral and written communication, analytical rigor and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and learn new software systems
