Seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join a firm-wide Legal Risk Management team in Chicago. The role focuses on conflict-of-interest clearance, intake coordination and advising on engagement letters and waivers for matters across multiple U.S. and international offices.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and resolving conflicts reports, coordinating searches and communications with attorneys across offices, assisting with engagement letters and waivers, and staying current on professional responsibility rules and best practices across jurisdictions. The role may also involve special projects to support the Legal Risk Management function.

U.S. law degree and active bar admission or equivalent law license in good standing
Strong oral and written communication skills and high attention to detail
Experience reviewing conflicts or advising on legal-ethics/professional-responsibility issues; ability to digest large volumes of information
Comfort working with new software systems, handling multiple assignments and interacting with lawyers across offices
