Senior Insurance Coverage Associate — Los Angeles

Leading global insurance practice seeks a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its West Coast team in Los Angeles. The role supports a national and international insurance coverage group advising insurers on coverage positions and defending coverage disputes.

The successful candidate will work on coverage opinions, pleadings, dispositive motions and discovery, and will regularly participate in depositions, court conferences and motion practice. The team operates with a collaborative, cross-border model and offers hybrid working arrangements.

• Approximately 7+ years' insurance coverage experience
• Proven litigation skills: drafting opinions, pleadings and dispositive motions; handling discovery
• Experience taking/defending depositions and arguing motions
• Strong analytical, written and oral advocacy abilities; able to work in a team on cross‑jurisdictional matters
