An established international law firm is recruiting a Senior Knowledge Counsel to support its Assets & Structured Finance group in London, with a particular focus on maritime finance. The role sits within a dedicated ASF knowledge team supporting fee-earners across an international network and across asset classes including shipping, aviation and rail.

The post-holder will develop and maintain precedents and practice know‑how, respond to technical queries, deliver and coordinate training, and champion legal‑tech and knowledge systems to ensure high-quality, accessible guidance for the team. The role combines hands‑on legal analysis with project work on firmwide knowledge initiatives and practice development.

This is a permanent, office-based role with flexible working accommodated where possible, and includes participation in global knowledge projects and sector initiatives.

Qualified in England & Wales as a solicitor or barrister.
Practical experience in asset finance or demonstrable familiarity with maritime regulatory and commercial issues.
Strong interest in knowledge management: precedent drafting, know‑how curation and training delivery.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, collaborative working style and a pragmatic approach; comfortable with legal technology and change projects.
