Experienced pensions lawyer sought to join a leading firm's People & Reward knowledge team in London. The role focuses on delivering and maintaining pensions know‑how to support transactional, advisory and contentious work across the UK practice, with particular emphasis on integrating knowledge into client service, driving thought leadership and upskilling fee earners.

This is a flexible, part‑time role (up to three days per week, with potential for further reduced hours for the right candidate). Responsibilities include developing and updating internal precedents and guidance, capturing insights from mandates, supporting AI and legal‑tech knowledge initiatives, and contributing to client-facing content and training.

The post will work closely with pensions lawyers, knowledge and information colleagues, and practice leadership to prioritise legal developments, design knowledge products and help translate regulatory change into practical, commercially-focused guidance for lawyers and clients.

  • Qualified lawyer in the UK with strong academic credentials.
  • Significant pensions law experience as a fee earner and/or knowledge/professional support lawyer, including work on scheme establishment, de‑risking, restructuring and regulator interaction.
  • Familiarity with the UK Pensions Regulator and relevant regulatory practice.
  • Proven ability to create knowledge products (guidance notes, templates, training) and convert technical developments into practical advice.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills; experience producing client-facing thought leadership.
  • Comfortable with legal technology and AI-enabled workflows; demonstrable interest in innovation.
  • Collaborative team player with sound judgment, stakeholder engagement and project leadership skills.
