Senior role leading the adoption and product management of legal AI across a major Australian law firm. You will partner with practice groups, AI champions and the legal technology team to design, build and embed scalable AI-enabled legal assets (workflows, playbooks, prompts and knowledge integrations) that measurably improve quality, efficiency and client outcomes.

This newly created, high-impact role sits at the intersection of legal practice, product management and change. You will act as an internal product leader — prioritising development, managing feature rollouts, tracking value realisation and driving firm-wide adoption of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities include developing governance and maintenance processes for AI assets, leading a champion network, engaging senior stakeholders to shape the product roadmap, supporting training and enablement, and managing vendor/product partner relationships to influence platform direction.

  • Admitted or qualified to practise as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction (current practising certificate desirable).
  • Proven experience in legal technology, transformation or innovation within a large or top-tier commercial law firm or equivalent professional services environment.
  • Direct experience evaluating, implementing and managing legal AI platforms; hands-on experience with AI-powered legal tools (Harvey experience strongly desirable).
  • Product-management mindset with experience managing feature rollouts, prioritisation and measuring value realisation.
  • Track record in change management and adoption programs, with working knowledge of information security, data privacy and responsible AI principles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills; ability to influence senior lawyers and translate practitioner needs into practical AI solutions.
