Experienced pensions lawyer sought to join a national pensions team, working primarily from the Birmingham office with collaboration across Manchester, Milton Keynes and the Thames Valley. The role involves advisory work, project delivery and support on a varied caseload for trustees and corporate clients.

You will work alongside senior lawyers on key client matters, including risk transfer projects, drafting deeds and other scheme documentation, and providing day-to-day pensions advice. The team is collaborative and technology-enabled to support cross-office working.

The firm places emphasis on inclusive culture, structured support, and development — the successful candidate will be expected to supervise junior colleagues, manage their own workload and keep abreast of developments in pensions law.

Typically 8+ years PQE in pensions law (guide only).
Proven experience advising on occupational pension schemes (DB and DC).
Experience drafting deeds, scheme documentation and supporting risk transfer or project work.
Ability to manage a personal caseload, meet deadlines and supervise junior team members.
Strong technical knowledge of pensions law and practical client-facing skills.
