Apply in confidence →A senior-level real estate lawyer is sought to join a busy Housing Development and Regeneration team advising on affordable housing ownership, development and investment. The role covers title due diligence, land acquisition, development agreements, portfolio acquisitions and disposals, and related transactional work for registered providers, local authorities and investors.
You will join a large, multi-disciplinary real estate practice that works closely with planning, construction, corporate, tax and finance colleagues. The position offers long-term career progression, structured training and involvement in multi-year projects for market-leading clients in the affordable housing sector.
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in affordable housing, housing development or commercial property/development law.
- Technical experience across acquisitions/disposals, development agreements, grant-funding and institutional investor transactions.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-party transactions and build client relationships; strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Comfort working collaboratively with cross‑disciplinary teams (planning, construction, corporate, tax, finance).
