Apply in confidence →Join a Projects & Infrastructure team advising on UK energy, infrastructure and government projects, supporting a strong pipeline of domestic project mandates. The group works across Birmingham, London and other international offices and draws on specialist support in procurement, project finance, construction and sector-specific areas such as defence and nuclear.
The role involves advising on project development and procurement matters across the project lifecycle — from procurement and project agreements through construction and operation. You'll work on developer- and government-side instructions across energy, infrastructure and related public-sector programmes.
This is a role well suited to candidates from private practice or in-house backgrounds (including government, defence or nuclear sectors). The team offers a hybrid working approach and development opportunities including client-facing work and business development responsibility.
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with minimum 4 years' PQE
- Experience advising on project agreements (PPP/PFI, PPAs, EPCs, O&M agreements)
- Exposure to UK public procurement (PCR) and running competitive procurements desirable
- Government, defence or nuclear sector experience desirable; project finance or construction contract experience advantageous
- Strong project management skills and willingness to contribute to business development
