The position involves leading transactional workstreams, managing document negotiation and conducting legal due diligence across project financings.
Typical matters include project credit facilities, tax-equity bridge loans, back-leverage and pre‑NTP financings, and associated security arrangements. The role requires hands-on drafting and negotiation of credit agreements, NY‑law security documents, consents to collateral assignment, legal opinions, and project commercial contracts (EPC, offtake/tolling, and supply agreements).
The team is collaborative and offers significant platform resources and opportunities for professional growth. The role may be based in several U.S. offices; candidates must be licensed or prepared to be licensed in one of the permitted jurisdictions.
- 4–6 years' experience in project finance on lender and/or borrower side.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating project finance credit agreements, NY‑law security documents, consents to collateral assignment, financing statements and legal opinions.
- Experience with EPC, offtake/tolling and supply agreements and conducting bankability analyses and project‑level due diligence.
- Ability to work independently, manage transactions and collaborate within a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Must reside in and be licensed or ready to become licensed to practice in one of the firm’s hiring jurisdictions (e.g., New York, Florida, Texas or Washington, D.C.).
