Senior Solicitor — Catastrophic Injury / Large Loss (Liverpool)

Senior solicitor role in a national large-loss personal injury team handling high-value catastrophic injury claims (motor, employers' liability, public liability and product liability). Typical matters include brain, spinal and amputation injuries and significant fatality/dependency claims.

The post-holder will manage their own caseload of defendant PI matters, assist a partner and senior lawyers, instruct experts, attend court and case conferences, and prepare client reports and strategy documents. The role operates on a hybrid basis from the Liverpool office.

There is scope to supervise and develop junior team members, contribute to business development and deliver high standards of client service and operational excellence.

• Qualified solicitor with c.8 years' PQE.
• Proven experience managing defendant personal injury litigation caseload (motor or EL/PL preferred).
• Experience or interest in large-loss/high-value PI work and catastrophic injury cases.
• Strong client reporting, case-management and expert-instruction skills; confident in court and advocacy tasks.
• Excellent organisation, analytical skills, IT competence and ability to meet tight deadlines and KPIs.
