Senior solicitor role within a speciality insurance disputes team advising on complex coverage, defence and reinsurance matters. You will work on high-value, technically demanding disputes for London Market insurers, global insurers and reinsurers, including international matters that involve coordination with foreign local counsel.

The role involves advising on policy interpretation, managing and defending underlying claims, supporting reinsurance disputes and recoveries, preparing technical reports and pleadings, and contributing to business development and client relationship management. You will work closely with senior lawyers and play an active role supervising and developing junior team members.

Qualified solicitor with c.6 years' PQE (or equivalent) in insurance litigation, coverage and defence work
Practical experience of reinsurance disputes and advisory work; experience with international/foreign-counsel matters desirable
Strong policy interpretation, drafting and legal analysis skills
Commercial awareness, client-focused approach and business development interest
Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing a varied caseload with limited supervision
