Senior Trade Mark Attorney (Legal Director) — London

Senior role for a qualified trade mark attorney to join a growing IP team in London. The post-holder will inherit a high‑quality caseload and play a central role in developing the trade mark offering across the business.

You will work closely with solicitors and other advisers on a mix of domestic and international trade mark work, including clearance, filing, portfolio management, oppositions/cancellation proceedings and strategic advice. The team benefits from dedicated IP support staff and a collaborative, cross‑disciplinary environment.

The role offers hybrid working with flexibility (the hiring team is open to four‑day week arrangements) and opportunities to represent the practice at industry events, contribute to business development and to internal learning and mentoring.

• Qualified trade mark attorney with c.10+ years post‑qualification experience (or equivalent senior trade mark practice).
• Proven track record managing complex, high‑value trade mark portfolios and contentious matters.
• Credibility with senior clients and ability to build and sustain client relationships.
• Commercial approach with demonstrable business development experience and interest in cross‑selling.
• Collaborative team player with experience mentoring or developing junior staff; comfortable working in an integrated multi‑disciplinary environment.
