Solicitor / Associate  Health, Care & Public Law, Bristol

Join a nationally recognised Health, Care and Public Law team advising a wide range of public and independent health and social care organisations. The team handles regulatory, advisory and contentious matters across the sector.

The role involves advising on inquests, regulatory investigations, mental health and mental capacity matters (including Court of Protection work), and other regulatory and advisory issues affecting health and social care providers. You will work on a varied caseload with appropriate supervision and contribute to client-facing work and business development activity.

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in healthcare, health regulatory or related public law work.
• Practical experience of matters such as inquests, regulatory investigations, mental health/mental capacity or Court of Protection work is highly advantageous.
• Strong client-handling and communication skills; able to deal confidently with clients, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Commercial outlook, excellent drafting and oral advocacy skills, and a collaborative team approach.
