An established UK financial services disputes team is hiring a Senior Associate to join its Bristol office. The role sits within a large, specialist financial regulation and disputes practice that acts for banks, building societies, challenger banks, payment providers and other financial institutions on high-value and complex contentious matters.

You will run a varied contentious caseload including banking and finance litigation, professional negligence, investment disputes, fraud, trade finance and regulatory work, advising on strategy and managing matters from pre-litigation through to trial and enforcement. The team offers partner-led support, opportunities to supervise junior staff and involvement in business development and know-how projects.

Qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent); ideally 4-6 PQE but open to strong candidates outside this band
Proven experience running your own litigation caseload and solid knowledge of the CPR and litigation process
Experience in financial services litigation preferred; candidates with commercial, insurance or property litigation backgrounds will be considered
Experience supervising or mentoring junior fee-earners desirable; strong commercial awareness and business development aptitude
