Join a national insurance practice to work on the defence of professional indemnity claims within Professional & Financial Lines. You will manage a supervised caseload, act as a client-facing point of contact and support senior lawyers on larger matters.

The role involves handling both pre-action and litigated matters, advising insurers on coverage issues, working to insurer protocols and SLAs, and contributing to business development and thought leadership activity.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the regional and international practice, coach junior fee-earners, and maintain technical knowledge and compliance with professional standards.

Qualified UK Solicitor / Associate
Experience handling Professional & Financial Lines insurance matters; professional indemnity experience highly desirable
Strong client-handling and relationship skills; ability to act as a point of contact for insurers
Proven ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision and to support senior fee-earners
Good numeracy and interest in financial aspects of claims
Experience supervising juniors, meeting CPD requirements and following billing/credit-control protocols
Team-oriented, adaptable, and commercially minded with an appetite for business development
