Exciting opportunity to join a leading insurance disputes team in Belfast focused on property subsidence matters. The role sits in a dedicated subsidence product handling claims such as tree root damage, tree failures and knotweed, with work spanning liability, mitigation, coverage and subrogated recoveries.

You will manage your own caseload (with supervision), drive files to early and commercially minded resolution, and engage directly with insurer and public-sector clients. The team will provide training in the specialist subsidence area for candidates without direct prior experience.

There is scope to contribute to account management, client reporting and business development activity, and to help shape technical and training materials for clients and colleagues.

Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or experienced paralegal with relevant litigation experience
Good commercial litigation skills; confident negotiator with settlement experience
Organised, able to manage deadlines and a personal caseload; strong written and oral communication
Comfortable working with large accounts and producing management information / client reports
Team player willing to share knowledge; commitment to professional development — subsidence training provided if required
