Solicitor — Court of Protection (Estate Planning)

National firm is recruiting a Court of Protection solicitor to join its specialist Court of Protection team. The role supports a growing regional team and provides legal advice and case management for clients who lack capacity, focusing on Property & Affairs matters.

The post offers hybrid working with office attendance in either Sheffield or Manchester and will involve local travel for client meetings. You will provide supervision and oversight to paralegals, manage your own caseload, and contribute to the team’s development and client service delivery.

• Qualified solicitor with demonstrable Court of Protection experience in Property & Affairs (mandatory)
• 3–8 years’ PQE
• Experience managing caseloads and supervising paralegals or junior staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, empathy and resilience working with vulnerable clients
• Ability to travel locally for client meetings and work in a hybrid model
