We are seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Healthcare division, working on a broad range of sensitive and high-stakes medical law matters. The role involves Court of Protection work—particularly urgent medical treatment decisions—alongside healthcare advisory, mental health and capacity issues, inquests, and Judicial Reviews.

The team advises NHS Trusts, NHS Resolution, and medical malpractice insurers acting for private hospitals, clinics, and individual practitioners. With a national footprint and support from colleagues in several global locations, the division handles complex and emotionally charged matters requiring swift, carefully considered legal intervention.

3+ years' UK-based relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Court of Protection, including urgent healthcare declaration cases
Expertise in Mental Capacity, Mental Health, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
Experience with inquests
