Apply in confidence →Join a well-regarded UK practice as a 1–3 PQE Data Protection solicitor focused on advisory work across privacy, data protection compliance and related cyber matters. The team advises a broad range of clients, including financial services, insurers, retailers and technology providers on UK and international data protection issues.
The role is primarily advisory but offers exposure to incident response, regulatory engagement and AI-related projects. You will be part of a collaborative Commercial, Technology & Regulatory group that handles technology contracts, IT outsourcing, regulatory risk and sector-specific compliance.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent) with 1–3 years' post-qualification experience.
- Practical experience advising on data protection and privacy law in private practice or in-house.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU data protection regimes and regulatory guidance.
- Excellent drafting and client-facing skills; ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- Experience or familiarity with cyber/data-breach response and regulatory engagement advantageous.
