Experienced employment solicitor sought for a national Employment, Pensions & Immigration team. The role focusses on tribunal advocacy, covering case-management hearings through to multi-day full-merits Employment Tribunal hearings, both in person and by video.

The post is office-based in Leeds, Nottingham or Manchester within a hybrid-working framework and will involve travel across the UK to cover hearings where required. You will join a market-ranked team advising a broad range of employers and help drive the team’s growth and service delivery.

Day-to-day responsibilities include running tribunal hearings, drafting tribunal documents and bundles, supervising junior fee-earners, providing strategic employment advice, contributing to business development and meeting internal SLAs and financial targets.

Qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE (candidates with relevant experience considered)
Proven Employment Tribunal advocacy experience, including multi-day hearings
Strong technical employment law knowledge (unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, detriment, equal pay)
Excellent communication, time-management and organisational skills; attention to detail
Ability to manage a mixed caseload, meet targets and travel to hearings across the UK
Experience mentoring or supervising junior fee-earners is desirable
