Apply in confidence →An established national pensions practice is hiring a Solicitor to join its Glasgow office. The team advises trustees, employers and pension providers on a broad mix of advisory and transactional pensions work, working closely with corporate, tax, employment, dispute resolution, finance and regulatory colleagues to provide integrated client service.
The role offers hands-on exposure to scheme governance, compliance and regulatory matters, corporate pensions aspects of transactions and restructures, liability management and SIPP/SSAS matters. You will work in a collaborative team environment where development and mentoring are prioritised.
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors who completed a seat in pensions, those recently qualified into a pensions team, or candidates with relevant pensions experience seeking to deepen their technical and commercial skills.
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales/Scotland as applicable) or newly qualified with a pensions seat.
- Practical understanding of UK pensions law, governance and regulatory compliance.
- Strong drafting and written communication skills; attention to detail on scheme documentation and member communications.
- Commercial mindset with an ability to build effective client and cross‑team working relationships.
