Apply in confidence →Join a well‑resourced casualty team in Leeds handling defendant-side public liability and employers’ liability claims across the sports sector. The role sits within a dedicated sports liability group acting for governing bodies, clubs, competitors and insurers on a range of claims.
You will manage a varied caseload (under appropriate supervision), assist on higher‑value and high‑profile matters, and undertake disclosure/document review, draft witness statements and client reports, instruct counsel and experts, and attend hearings and client meetings.
The team works nationally and is supported by specialist resources (including fraud and e‑discovery capabilities), offering exposure to complex litigation and practical, commercially focused outcomes for clients.
- Qualified solicitor or CILEX with approximately 2–4 years' post‑qualification experience.
- Proven experience managing EL/PL personal injury claims and solid understanding of negligence and health & safety law.
- Experience of disclosure/document review and drafting witness statements, instructions and client reports.
- Strong legal research, analytical, communication and time‑management skills; team player with attention to detail; interest in sport‑related claims.
