Apply in confidence →Senior transactional role within a high-performing M&A team focused on superannuation, financial services and funds management. You will lead and advise on complex, high-value transactions and regulatory-driven projects that shape products, governance and operating models across the sector.
The role will be central to practice growth: shaping offering development, deepening relationships with major banks, superannuation funds, insurers, wealth platforms and investment managers, and mentoring junior lawyers.
Expect a mix of transactional and advisory work including fund mergers and successor transfers, financial services transactions, outsourcing and service provider arrangements, product lifecycle and disclosure, regulatory reform implementation and disputes.
- Established financial services/M&A lawyer with strong technical skills and commercial judgement
- Proven track record leading complex matters and advising sophisticated institutional clients
- Experience from a top law firm, regulator or in-house team; strong drafting and document review capability
- Demonstrated client leadership, business development experience and ability to mentor junior lawyers
- Right to work in Australia (must hold necessary visas/approvals if not an Australian citizen or permanent resident)
