Special Counsel, Technology & Communications — Washington, DC

Senior regulatory role within a national technology and communications practice based in Washington, DC. The hire will lead wireless regulatory and spectrum matters, shape FCC strategy and support growth across mobility, infrastructure and adjacent technology areas.

The role is client-facing and supervisory: you will manage complex filings and regulatory proceedings, serve as a senior resource for large carrier and industry clients, mentor associates, and work with multidisciplinary teams across the firm. The position requires regular in‑office collaboration (approximately 60%).

• Minimum 10 years' post‑qualification experience with substantial wireless regulatory and spectrum practice
• Proven ability to manage complex FCC matters and regulatory strategy for major clients
• Experience supervising teams and mentoring junior lawyers
• JD (or LLM) from an ABA‑accredited law school; admitted or eligible for admission to the DC bar
• Excellent oral and written communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
