Staff Attorney / Counsel, Labor & Employment — Los Angeles (Remote-eligible)

Join a national Labor & Employment team as a remote-eligible, hourly Staff Attorney or Counsel focused on management-side employment litigation. This role is part of a distributed, specialized staffing group that supports complex employment matters across the U.S. while offering flexible scheduling and no billable-hours quota.

The position is California-focused and ideal for experienced litigators who want substantive, varied work without a full-time partner-track commitment. You will handle litigation, agency matters, investigations, mediations, and settlement negotiations while collaborating with senior litigation lawyers.

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably representing management.
• Experience in federal and state court practice and with administrative agencies (EEOC, DOL, state/local agencies).
• Proven litigation skills: pleadings, discovery, motion practice (including summary judgment), and handling EEOC charges and investigations.
• Strong time-management, collaborative approach, and ability to work independently on an hourly/remote basis (target availability ~1,000+ hours/year depending on casework).
• Active bar license in the state where you reside and an active license in at least one state in which the employer maintains an office.
