Strategic Transactions Associate — Corporate, Washington, DC

Growing corporate transactions team seeks a transactional associate to support strategic M&A, joint-venture, licensing and development transactions for clients in the aerospace, defense and next-generation energy sectors. The role emphasizes drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and working closely with in-house counsel, engineers and business teams.

Responsibilities include legal research and drafting, client-facing support, participation in negotiations and deal execution, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across the practice. The team operates on a hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence expected.

• JD from an accredited law school; minimum GPA 3.5
• 3–6 years' transactional experience (preferably from a major law firm), with strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience with complex contracts, licenses, collaboration/development agreements; interest or experience in aerospace, defense or energy sectors preferred
• Admitted (or able to gain admission) to the DC Bar; excellent written/verbal communication and client-management skills
