Tax Associate — Chicago (3-5 years PQE)

Established national law firm is seeking a mid-level tax associate to join its tax group. The role focuses on transactional tax work across mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and international transactions.

The team advises sophisticated corporate clients on tax planning and structuring in cross-border and domestic deals. Candidates can be based in Chicago or several other U.S. offices; the firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and supportive parental leave policies.

• 3-5 years of tax experience at a law firm or comparable environment
• Experience advising on some combination of M&A, capital markets and international tax matters
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school; LL.M. in Tax preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving, client-relations skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent matters
