Tax Associate — Chicago (3–5 years)

Full-service law firm seeking a tax associate to join a national tax practice. The role involves advising on transactional tax matters across mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and cross-border transactions.

Candidates may be based in the Chicago office (other US office locations are also possible). The team handles sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional matters; the firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and progressive parental and leave programs.

• 3–5 years of US tax law experience at a law firm or comparable setting
• Experience advising on one or more of: M&A tax, capital markets tax, and international/cross-border tax issues
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school; LL.M. in Tax preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent matters, and strong client communication skills
