Growing Energy & Infrastructure tax group seeks a junior associate to work on transactional tax matters supporting financings and tax-credit monetization for renewable energy projects. The role will support teams working with developers, sponsors and investors on wind, solar and other energy-transition projects.

Open to candidates based in Washington, D.C., Chicago, or San Francisco. The team offers formal training, mentoring and exposure to complex tax-structured financings and M&A in the renewables space.

  • 6 months to 2 years of large law firm transactional tax experience; experience with tax equity financings, tax-credit monetization or partnership tax preferred
  • Familiarity with renewable energy project finance and related tax-structuring
  • Membership in the relevant State Bar for the chosen office location required
  • Strong oral and written communication, research, analytical and organizational skills
