Growing national law firm seeks a Tax Associate to join its Global Tax Services group in the Charlotte office. The role focuses on transactional tax matters supporting private equity and corporate transactions across buy‑side and sell‑side deals.

Typical engagements include tax structuring and due diligence for mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and fund-related investments. The team values candidates who can manage transaction workstreams, communicate clearly with deal teams, and draft high‑quality memoranda and closing documents.

4–6 years' post‑qualification experience in transactional tax work
Experience with private equity transactions, public and private M&A, joint ventures and divestitures
Experience with fund formation and investment structures is a plus
Excellent academic record and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
