Tax Associate — Mexico City

Mid-level tax associate role in a major international law firm's Mexico City office, focused on non-contentious tax advisory and planning. The team advises on domestic and cross-border tax matters including international tax planning, corporate restructurings, M&A tax advice, transfer pricing and general tax consulting.

The role involves working closely with local and regional colleagues to deliver technical, commercially-focused tax solutions for domestic and multinational clients. This is a hands-on role for a motivated lawyer or accountant seeking exposure to complex cross-border engagements.

• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in tax advisory/consulting (tax controversy not required)
• Strong technical knowledge of domestic tax law and familiarity with international tax principles and treaties
• Law degree and/or accounting degree from an accredited institution
• Admitted to practice as a lawyer and/or licensed as a public accountant (CPA or equivalent), as applicable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to build relationships across levels and jurisdictions
