Tax Associate — Mid-Level (San Francisco)

Mid-level associate role in a large national law firm’s Tax practice based in San Francisco. The team advises on a broad range of transactional tax matters in support of corporate, private equity, real estate and capital markets work.

You will work closely with corporate deal teams on mergers & acquisitions, partnership and LLC matters, fund formation, REITs and financing transactions. The role combines collaborative team work with responsibility for managing substantial components of complex transactions.

• 3–4 years of transactional tax experience (general corporate tax practice).
• J.D. with excellent academic credentials; comparable law-firm experience preferred.
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Strong drafting and oral communication skills; ability to work in teams and manage significant transaction components independently.
