Tax Associate — Mid-Level (Silicon Valley)

Mid-level tax associate role on a national firm’s Silicon Valley team. The group advises on a broad range of transactional tax matters, working closely with corporate lawyers on mergers & acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, private equity and fund formation, real estate and REITs, and financing and capital markets transactions.

The position calls for a transactional tax lawyer who can contribute on teams and manage substantial components of deals independently. The team emphasizes collaboration across practices and offers exposure to sophisticated corporate and fund-related matters.

• J.D. and bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
• Approximately 3–4 years of transactional tax experience (corporate tax, partnership tax, fund or real estate tax experience preferred)
• Proven ability to work in teams and take ownership of significant transaction components
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
