Well-established German tax practice is hiring a lawyer to join its Umsatzsteuer (VAT) team in either Bonn or Düsseldorf. The role focuses on advising corporate clients and financial institutions on domestic and cross-border VAT issues.

Day-to-day work will include transactional and advisory matters, VAT planning and restructuring support, and responding to technical tax questions. You will work closely with colleagues across offices in a collaborative, specialist tax environment.

Qualified German attorney (Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin) or equivalent tax qualification
Practical experience advising on Umsatzsteuer / VAT matters
Strong drafting and advisory skills; able to handle complex technical issues
Fluent German; good English for international matters
Team-oriented and client-facing
