Experienced tax partner opportunity with a large, full-service international firm to join the Long Island (Garden City) tax practice. The role will involve leading client matters, developing tax strategies across federal, state and transactional matters, and mentoring junior lawyers.

The team advises a mix of corporate and individual clients on a broad range of tax issues including transactional tax, planning, and controversy. The practice offers significant cross‑practice collaboration and access to national and international resources.

The firm is seeking a partner who can grow and manage a tax practice locally while leveraging broader platform capabilities; a portable practice or demonstrable business development record is valued.

Proven partner-level tax practice background; substantial experience in transactional and/or controversy tax work
Ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development success preferred
Strong technical tax knowledge (federal and state) and experience counseling corporate and high‑net‑worth clients
Experience supervising and mentoring associates and contributing to practice development
