Leading international law firm seeks a Technology Procurement Attorney to manage the firm’s technology contracting, procurement and vendor governance in Atlanta. The role will own negotiation and risk management for software, cloud, managed services and technology consulting agreements, maintain a contract lifecycle system, and develop playbooks and supplier standards.

The attorney will work closely with internal stakeholders across legal, IT/security, procurement and business services to scale procurement processes, advise on privacy and data-protection considerations, and support governance related to emerging technologies including generative AI. This is a hands-on role combining contract drafting, vendor negotiations, process design and technology-enabled contracting.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar license in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience reviewing and negotiating technology-related contracts (law firm, professional services or in-house/procurement team)
  • Experience with software, cloud and services agreements, contract lifecycle tools, and vendor management
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), generative AI considerations, and enterprise technology risk
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and cross-functional stakeholder skills
